Caroline County Department of Fire and Rescue currently has part time openings for the position of Medic/Firefighter. This position is responsible for emergency medical service work responding to a variety of injuries and illnesses, fire prevention, and suppression. Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Possession at all times of a valid, Virginia driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Health Care Provider CPR)
• EVOC Class III
• Virginia Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate / Paramedic
• Virginia Department of Fire Programs Firefighter II
• Virginia Department of Fire Programs Hazardous Materials Operations
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent
